The DC Code: § 1-131 Application of honoraria limitations.

Notwithstanding the provisions of § 1-135, the honoraria limitations imposed by part H of subchapter I of Chapter 11 of this title shall apply to a Senator or Representative elected pursuant to § 1-123(d)(1), only if the salary of the Senator or Representative is supported by public revenues.

Historical and Statutory

Prior Codifications 1981 Ed., § 1-113a. Legislative History of Laws Law 8-135 was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 8-488, which was referred to the Committee on Government Operations. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on February 27, 1990 and March 27, 1990, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on April 13, 1990, it was assigned Act No. 8-191 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review. DC CODE § 1-131 Current through December 11, 2012
