Miscellaneous Notes Extension of statutory deadline for preparation of draft ward plans: Pursuant to Resolution 6-580, the "Draft Ward Plans Emergency Declaration Resolution of 1986," effective March 11, 1986, the Council determined that emergency circumstances made it necessary that the Draft Ward Plans Emergency Amendment Act of 1986 be adopted after a single reading to extend by 3 months the statutory deadline by which the Mayor is required to prepare draft ward plans.
