The DC Code: § 3-1003 Environmental Planning Fund.

An Environmental Planning Fund ("Fund") shall be established as a separate bank account by the Commission to receive all funds from whatever source derived. All funds generated by this Commission shall be deposited in the Fund, in coordination with the D.C. Comptroller.

The Commission is authorized to solicit, accept, and expend funds, gifts, and donations to carry out the purposes of this chapter.

Any funds of the Commission, from whatever source derived, shall be for the sole use of the Commission and shall be deposited as soon as practicable in the Fund.

The Commission shall submit to the Mayor and to the Council a bimonthly statement of its receipts and disbursements from the Fund.

Any money remaining in the Fund or other assets belonging to the Commission upon the termination of the Commission shall be paid over into the General Fund of the District as general purpose revenues after the obligations of the Commission have been satisfied.
