Prior Codifications 1981 Ed., § 2-2602. 1973 Ed., § 2-2402. Legislative History of Laws Law 13-203, the "Securities Act of 2000," was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 13-678, which was referred to the Committee on Consumer and Regulatory Affairs. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on June 26, 2000, and July 11, 2000, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on August 11, 2000, it was assigned Act No. 13-436 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review. D.C. Law 13-203 became effective on October 26, 2000.
