The DC Code: § 8-1313 Dust suppression and road treatment.

The use of waste, used oil, or other material, which is contaminated or mixed with dioxin or any other hazardous waste for dust suppression or road treatment in the District of Columbia, is prohibited.

Historical and Statutory

Prior Codifications 1981 Ed., § 6-713. Legislative History of Laws Law 8-37, the "District of Columbia Hazardous Waste Management Act of 1977 Amendment Act of 1989," was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 8-216, which was referred to the Committee on Public Works. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on June 27, 1989 and July 11, 1989, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on July 27, 1989, it was assigned Act No. 8-66 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review. DC CODE § 8-1313 Current through December 11, 2012
